Job summary

Gecko Robotics is seeking an Enterprise Security Engineer to build and operate shared systems protecting people, devices, apps and data. You’ll work with InfoSec Engineering and IT Engineering, focusing on workforce endpoint security, identity security, SaaS governance, and AI tool adoption with compliant controls.

You’ll translate requirements into practical configurations, improve detections, coordinate incident response, and collaborate across security, engineering, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Enterprise Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience administering endpoint management and EDR in production.
• Experience securing IAM platforms including SSO/MFA and lifecycle management.
• Experience governing SaaS apps, OAuth integrations, and enterprise controls.
• Experience handling regulated or sensitive data (e.g., CUI, HIPAA, PCI, SOC 2).
• Strong systems configuration, troubleshooting, and ownership skills.
• Ability to balance security/compliance with business needs and user experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and operate endpoint-management, device-compliance, and EDR controls.
• Own and improve identity security—Okta policies, MFA, and Conditional Access.
• Create governance for SaaS, OAuth, browser extensions, AI tools, and third parties.
• Translate requirements into configurations and workflows with IT Engineering.
• Build and tune enterprise detections; lead incident response and remediation.
• Partner with Product Security, Cloud Infra, IT, and Facilities on intersections.
• Establish governance for AI tools to meet security and compliance needs.
• Travel up to 20% to Gecko offices and locations as needed.
