Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking a Staff Engineer with working knowledge of IEC 60601-1 and related standards to support product safety projects across the US and international markets. The role requires independent work on diverse products, report writing, and client communication.

You will help scope projects, quote for safety conformance, and assist in audits while collaborating with sales, engineering, and management.

Qualifications

• Two to Four-year college degree – Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 8 to 10 years of product safety experience.
• The ability to travel as business needs dictate up to 30%.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Quote products and support management for safety standards.
• Test and evaluate products per IEC standards.
• Prepare and assist audits and audits support.
• Support sales with technical communications.
• Provide engineering rationale for technical decisions.
• Lead multiple projects and mentor others.
