Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking a Product Safety Engineer to work under IEC 60601-1 and IEC 62368-1 guidance, supporting U.S. and international product safety evaluations.

Responsibilities include writing test plans, executing tests, interpreting standards, communicating with clients, and collaborating with senior engineers. Travel up to 15% and a four-year engineering degree required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 4 years of product safety experience in Testing, inspection and certification /NRTL lab is required.
• IEC 60601-1 & IEC 62368-1 required.
• The ability to travel as business needs dictate up to 15%.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Prepare Test Plans and execute testing per IEC standards.
• Fill in TRF pertaining to the above standards with guidance.
• Read and determine applicability of national codes and standards clauses for the EUT.
• Test products in accordance with standards and requirements.
• Communicate with customers and sales on project status.

Education

Four-year college degree – Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
