Job summary

Plastpro,Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to provide extensive manufacturing data and suggestions to ensure an effective production process within expansion projects. The role will analyze plant requirements, design, methods and procedures to optimize all phases of research and production.

You will interact with multiple departments across projects, manage BOM and tooling reviews, and implement process changes while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office; CAD software knowledge.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; good communication.
• Experience with sheet molding compound (SMC) and compression molding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Involvement with new product, process and quality planning, BOM reviews, and tooling reviews to support designed parts and process changes.
• Liaise with related departments for timely execution of action items.
• Controls product structure and process by reviewing design, specifications and schedule changes; recommend actions.
• Develops product objectives by reviewing proposals and plans; confers with management.
• Prototyping new products; preparing samples and ensuring accuracy against design drawings.
