Job summary

She Jobs is seeking a Product Quality Engineer for RMA Failure Analysis focused on hardware and server products in Santa Clara, CA. The role requires 4+ years of hardware design, testing, and system-level debugging experience with emphasis on server architecture.

The engineer will perform system and board testing, read schematics, inspect components, and carry out failure analysis down to discrete parts. Linux basics are a plus; familiarity with BIOS/BMC/CPLD/FPGA is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hardware design, testing and system design experience.
• Experience with server products and board-level debugging.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and block diagrams.
• Experience with component-level failure analysis and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform system and board level testing and debugging down to component level.
• Read and interpret schematics and block diagrams for server hardware.
• Conduct visual mechanical inspection of server components and boards.
• Complete component-level troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Possess knowledge to perform component swapping to isolate failures.
• Basic Linux environment knowledge is a plus.

Location: Santa clara,CA

• Need atleast 4 Years to upto 25 Years of experience on Hardware design/Testing/System design/Testing- Mainly on server product
• Perform system and board level testing and debugging down to components level Must to have
• server knowledge is highly desirable. (BIOS / BMC / CPLD / FPGA, etc)- Design/Testing/debugging Must to have
• read and interpret schematics/block diagrams with detailed understanding of server and subassembly functionality Must to have
• Visual mechanical inspection of Server/GPU board components (Motherboards, GPU, GPU baseboard, CPU, DIMM, NIC, SSD, Power Supply, etc.) and/or electronics components Must to have
• Completes component level trouble shooting (capacitor, resistors, fuse, IC, diode, etc.) and failure analysis Must to have
• knowledge to do component swapping, removal to isolate failures and overall deeper FA Must to have
• Knowledge of basic Linux environment and commands Good to have
