Job summary

TVH is seeking a Product Purchaser in Olathe, KS to source, create orders, and evaluate opportunities within an assigned commodity group under guidance from senior team members. You will learn supply chain concepts and negotiation skills to identify cost savings and drive fiscal benefit for TVH.

The role covers product development, quality management, item and supplier management, and procurement support. You will work on global product/supplier initiatives while maintaining technical

Qualifications

• Deep mechanical knowledge relevant to product parts.
• Ability to read diagrams and drawings accurately.
• Experience or exposure to R&D or product development work.
• Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver short and long-term projects that support the business strategy.
• Sourcing, creating orders, evaluating opportunities, updating information.
• Analyze samples and provide technical support to sales.
• Maintain product lifecycle, relationships, category IDs, and data updates.
• Register, evaluate, and resolve supplier issues.
• Create purchase requisitions and support procurement activities.
• Create and review supplier agreements; update technical information.
• May act as global product/supplier lead for projects.
