Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a General Laborer to support packaging and production on our floor in Texas. You will work with a dedicated crew to ensure products are packed, prepared, and delivered with quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting operators, loading materials, moving items on conveyors, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Prior warehouse or production experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or unload materials, ingredients, parts, products, cases, crates, and pallets.
• Move, stack, or place items on conveyor manually or by mechanized means.
• Deliver production or area specific items to designated work areas for processing.
• Pack products in crates or boxes by hand.
• Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units.
• Mark or put identifying labels on product loads.
• Construct or de-construct shipping boxes.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Report quality and operational issues or irregularities to supervisor as they occur.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and regulatory requirements.
