MSI is hiring a Product Promoter (Flooring) in Middlesex, NJ. This salaried, exempt role promotes MSI Flooring products by visiting customer locations, merchandising displays, and conducting product knowledge training to drive brand awareness and sales support.

Work hours are Monday–Friday with one Saturday monthly; compensation ranges from $67,000 to $72,000 per year, with potential bonuses based on performance and an estimated range up to $78,000+ for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Promote MSI Flooring products through on-site merchandising at customer locations.

• Attend trade shows and onsite seminars; support sales efforts.
• Collaborate with customers to manage promotional materials and displays.
• Retain and grow business through regular customer engagement.
• Travel to customer sites and use MSI van for merchandising.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Product Promoter (Flooring)

Sales Jobs Location: Middlesex, NJ

Summary: The Flooring Merchandiser is responsible for promoting MSI’s flooring portfolio by visiting customer locations, merchandising product displays, and conducting product knowledge training to drive brand awareness and support sales efforts.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, 1 Saturday(s) a month from 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Compensation: This salaried, exempt position pays from $67,000 to $72,000 per year. The estimated annual pay for new hires generally ranges from $72,000 to $78,000 or more, depending on experience, education level and annual bonuses (based on performance).

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:

• Promote MSI Flooring Products primarily through merchandising at customer locations, including Retailer/Dealer locations, Landscaping Yards, and when needed, builders, architects, designers, and kitchen dealers.
• Conduct product knowledge seminars at customer sites.
• Train customer sales teams on MSI product lines.
• Maintain accurate customer database and generate sales reports as needed.
• Attend trade shows, conventions, and onsite seminars.
• Work consistently with existing customers to retain and grow business.
• Coordinate with customers to maintain appropriate levels of promotional materials.
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.

Additionally, the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:

• High School Education required
• Two (2) plus years of experience in a professional environment
• Two (2) plus years of retail merchandising experience preferred but not required
• Provide a high level of customer service
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
• Personable with an extroverted personality and well-organized
• Clear speaker, active listener, and critical thinker
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Previous experience using iPads, iPhones, or smartphones is helpful
• Willingness to travel up to 80% for customer visits and merchandising
• Must be able to drive MSI van primarily used for merchandising purposes
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Strong organizational skills.
