Title: Product Portfolio Director - P5

Location: Remote - US

Reports to: SVP Product & Data Operations

The Role:

The Auto Planner EU/EU Data Products Portfolio Director will support the SVP of Product by executing the product roadmap and delivering new products and enhancements. This role requires strong experience with EU vehicle data, data operations, and syndication, as well as proficiency in using JIRA and other software development applications. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with various product development teams and communicating directly with the sales team and customers to understand their needs and requirements.

The Impact You Will Have in This Role:

This role involves facilitating product development requirements, working with various teams to understand customer needs, and collaborating on product pricing strategies. It requires defining solution approaches and accountability for estimates by integrating supporting data sets and identifying new technologies. Additionally, it includes working with technology partners on new initiatives and solving industry business problems.

Qualifications of This Role:

• An understanding of the European auto industry’s marketplace dynamics is ideal.
• Vehicle data Subject Matter Expert and deep experience with automotive websites is also ideal.
• 8 to 10 years of experience working with data services and applications is a must.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with EU automotive data.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team of Product Managers, Product Analysts, UX Designers, and allocated development resources to identify and create solutions to solve business problems.
• Proven experience interfacing with and guiding highly technical teams and capable of communicating complex technical solutions to a business and/or functional audience is a major plus.
• Analytical, logical, and able to work with vast data sets surrounding consumer engagement, interactions, and needs. Capable of translating findings into new products that solve customer problems, fulfill needs, and create value.
• Proven success in creating, launching, and managing complex, data-driven web and mobile products, preferably in automotive data related to digital retail and desking solutions in the EU.
• Proven success with data integration and syndication initiatives.
• Experience working with engineering and technical teams, understanding when to compromise, and respecting their challenges during product development and releases.
• Ability to optimize multiple concurrent product initiatives and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Self-starting, proactive, and able to translate product vision into tangible requirements focused on revenue generation.
• Experience with automotive technology services and solutions.
• Capable of evaluating and recommending new technologies and frameworks.
• Experience with solution documentation such as BRDs and wireframes.
