Job summary

Danone North America seeks a Director to co‑lead scale‑up across product and packaging, ensuring end‑to‑end technical rigor for launches and renovations. You’ll bridge R&I with Packaging, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and external partners to deliver manufacturability and consumer‑preferred performance.

You will guide a team of Scientists and Engineers, shaping scale‑up strategy, trial design, validation, and commercialization readiness across dairy, beverages, yogurt, and more,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Packaging/Engineering or related field; MS/PhD preferred.
• 10–15+ years in packaging, product development, process engineering, or manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross‑functional technical programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong depth in packaging materials, validation, sustainability, and launch execution.
• Ability to travel to sites for scale‑up support (approx. 20–30%).

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end R&I scale‑up execution for innovations and renovations.
• Co‑lead technical commercialization with cross‑functional partners.
• Drive first‑time‑right execution with risk assessments and robust validation.
• Ensure manufacturability by integrating product, packaging, process, and equipment specs.
