Job summary

Avion Solutions Inc., a 100% employee-owned company, seeks candidates for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS SW Development Team Product Owner (PO) to support PAE Fires. Based in Huntsville, AL, this role requires a strong DoD background, agile collaboration, and leadership in prioritizing software development for the TIS team.

Responsibilities include guiding C2 software development, conducting technical briefings for leadership, and coordinating priorities with program management. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics required.
• Minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience required.
• Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• Understand CID (Classification, Identification, and Discrimination) used in C2 systems, including IFF, ADS-B, Air Tasking Orders, and NCTR.
• Must have the ability to provide oversight to the development team and verify the team's work based on agreed-upon acceptance criteria, including attending code reviews.
• Must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiarity with current CID measures in one or more of the DoD services.

• Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team.
