Job summary

Fitch Solutions in New York City seeks a Product Owner to join the Scoring & Risk Analytics Tribe and drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch. You will partner with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver model-based outputs and governance across Fitch Solutions' portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in product management, strong communication, and a solid understanding of Agile with Jira/Trello.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of product management or related experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, Trello, and basic software development.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities, with metric awareness (e.g., DORA).
• Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
• Customer-centric mindset and ability to work with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product delivery.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is up-to-date and reflects the current business priorities.
• Develop detailed user stories and establish acceptance criteria to ensure stories are ready for development.
• Run agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that stories meet the definition of done and acceptance criteria.
• Discuss features with customers, focusing on usability, time to value, feature completeness, and the overall user journey.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to prototype features, conduct A/B testing, and validate designs with end users.
• Handle issues with current features and provide solutions based on customer feedback.
• Track and analyze product performance metrics and implement squad-level improvements.
