Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Product Owner to own the roadmap and execution for Retirement and Government Savings programs. You will define stories, prioritize the team backlog, and ensure alignment with business value and ROI.

You will drive agile ceremonies, collaborate with a cross-functional team, and act as the primary liaison with customers and stakeholders to deliver value. The role requires 5+ years as a Product Owner or in a technology practice, strong Agile/SDLC expertise, and excellent

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner or in a Technology (Dev or QA) practice.
Advanced knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies.
Strong communication and written skills; ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain the Scrum Team Roadmap.
Prioritize and sequence the Backlog based on business value or ROI.
Convey Vision and Goals at each Release and Sprint.
Represent the customer and engage stakeholders.
Collaborate with Scrum team on feature development, backlog, user stories, and UAT.
Work with BAs and Technology to create BDD stories and break Epics into sprint-sized tasks.
Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, release planning, reviews and retrospectives.
Maintain relationships with business and client to understand evolving needs.
Lead organizational readiness activities and be primary internal/external point of contact for updates.
Identify and track KPIs; establish annual goals and monitor outcomes.
