Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Product Owner to drive the roadmap and execution for the Retirement and Government Savings program. You will lead backlog prioritization, define stories, and collaborate with a Scrum team to ensure timely delivery while maintaining product integrity.

A strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and a data-driven mindset is required. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the retirement savings domain, extensive Agile experience, and Excellent communication skills to influence

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in the 401(k), IRA, or related retirement savings domain.
5+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or in a technology practice.
Strong track record implementing and executing Agile principles with strong technical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Creates and maintains the Scrum Team Roadmap and priorities backlog.
Conveys the Vision and Goals at the start of every Release and Sprint.
Represents the customer and interfaces with stakeholders to gather requirements.
Collaborates with a Scrum team on feature development, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Participates in daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives and accepts or rejects work.
