Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an IT Product Owner IV to define the product vision, manage the end-to-end lifecycle, and lead cross-functional teams across IT and business units.

You will gather stakeholder needs, shape roadmaps, prioritize the backlog, and guide releases and sprints to deliver customer value.

This role requires strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with 5+ years in similar domains; U.S. work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years of PeopleSoft FSCM Functional experience (AR, AP, GL, Billing, ePro, Asset Management, Cash Management, or Project Costing).

Responsibilities

• Manages the most complex products through the lifecycle and supports enhancements until EOL.
• Decides on product/solution development lifecycle processes to implement across the organization.
• Contributes to program risk management and drives mitigations and resolutions.
• Advocates for consistent cross-functional program metrics.

• Reviews and prioritizes backlog for sprint planning and dependency coordination.
• Analyzes impacts of proposed solutions and develops business Use Cases for IT teams.

• Collaborates with business owners, product scrum team, and stakeholders to set timelines and goals.
• Participates in design sessions to understand end-user and customer needs.

IT Product Owner IV

SUMMARY:

The Product Owner IV is responsible for defining the overall process vision, and innovation, and helps lead the product development process within Motion IT. This role identifies the customer, stakeholder, and development team's needs and works with each cross-functional team. The Product Owner gathers feature requests, schedules releases, and coordinates sprints. This role manages the development project from start to finish.

You must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.

JOB DUTIES

• Manages the most complex products through the entire lifecycle, and supports decisions regarding enhancements throughout the lifecycle until product End of Life(EOL).
• Makes key decisions for product/solution development lifecycle process to be implemented throughout the organization.
• Contributes to innovative ideas on the program risk management plan and drives mitigation and resolutions
• advocates to drive consistent and accurate cross functional program metrics.
• Designs program management practices and collaborates with and mentors other members of the product management org.
• Contributes expertise in the product management concepts internally and externally.
• Reviews and prioritizes backlog for sprint planning, including coordination of dependencies.
• Analyzes impacts of proposed solutions across the business, develops use cases to explain business requirements to the IT team, and contributes a business process perspective during design review.
• Owns, develops and executes product roadmap.
• Collaborates with business owners, product scrum team, and stakeholders to establish timelines, workflows, and goals.
• Participates in design sessions to gain insights into end user and customer needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and eight (8) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination. 5+ years of PeopleSoft FSCM Functional experience (AR, AP, GL, Billing, ePro, Asset Management, Cash Management, or Project Costing).
