Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Project Manager to lead software implementation and technology initiatives from concept to delivery. You will partner with stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into clear requirements, backlogs, and actionable delivery plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Experience leading enterprise software projects on time and within scope and budget.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models and the role of a product owner.
Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives with attention to detail and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end software implementation and technology projects from planning to closeout.
Define scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, risk registers, and executive status reports.
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes.
Coordinate IT, business users, vendors, and external consultants to deliver solutions.
Lead requirements sessions, translate needs into functional/technical specs, and own the backlog.
Run user acceptance testing and validate business outcomes with leadership.
