Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Product Owner to bridge Product Management and Development, translating strategy into concrete development items and user stories. The PO aligns priorities across the mainframe Precision solution portfolio and manages backlogs, acceptance criteria, and DoD across multiple teams.

In this role you will engage with customers, participate in PI planning, and drive delivery that differentiates our user experiences in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering with 8+ years experience, or Master's with 6+ years.
• PO sits between PM and Development team and prioritizes features across value streams.
• Experience with Agile backlog, PI Planning, and cross-team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operates as part of an extended Product Management team, usually reporting to Product Management.
• Understands backlog model with Epics, Capabilities, Features and User Stories.
• Uses PI Objectives and Iteration Goals to communicate with management.
• Establishes and sequences backlog items based on program priorities and dependencies.
• Coordinates with other Product Owners, System Team, and shared services in ART PI Planning meetings.
• Works with other Product Owners and the Product Management team throughout each Iteration and PI.
• Owns the Definition of Done (DoD) and sets clear Acceptance Criteria, final authority to accept or reject user stories at end of sprints.
• Maintains a backlog of work items with order and detail sufficient for the current and next iteration.
• Maintains cadence across teams and communicates inter-team dependencies and risks.
• Engages with customers to observe users and gather feedback; conducts Sprint Reviews with stakeholders.
