Job Title:Product Owner - Mid-Level
Contract Duration: 1 year
Pay range: $69.34//hr
Location:Framingham, MA
Work Type: 100% Remote

Job Description:

  • Experience in defining/prioritizing a team backlog of user stories, including acceptance criteria.
  • Experience in analyzing cross-functional business processes and defining integrated user stories using industry-standard techniques
  • Product Owner's ability to manage dependencies and shift priorities in and across sprints /PIs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailoring to audiences
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations
  • Experience of working as part of an Agile Release Train and participating in ART and Scrum Team Ceremonies
  • Good knowledge of business analysis, project management, and product management concepts is desired, along with an understanding of how enterprise software products are positioned and developed.
  • Ability to coordinate work with Product Management Manager, other Product Owners, and Scrum Master
  • Experience in writing epics, features, user stories, and defects in Jira Cloud/Align.
  • Experience in an agile delivery framework

Job Requirements:
  • Good understanding of agile methodology, techniques, frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban; all required)
  • Agile tools (Jira and Confluence; both required)
  • Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent IT Delivery skillset/training/experience

Preferences:
  • Experience in Point of Sale (POS) (Oracle Xstore is being used, but open to other tool experience)
  • Knowledge of Payment Card Industry
  • Knowledge of: Mainframe, Cobol, JCL, IMS\DB2
  • Good knowledge of the retail industry
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Security best practices is a benefit
