Hybrid/remote options available; primary duties include product strategy, Agile delivery, and cross-functional collaboration across policy, underwriting, claims, and billing functions.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in product leadership within P&C insurance, strong stakeholder management, and a proven ability to translate business needs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Owner/PM or related leadership experience.
• Experience with Guidewire InsuranceNow or similar platforms.
• Property & Casualty insurance industry experience.
• Understanding of underwriting, policy administration, claims or billing.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to create user stories, define acceptance criteria and prioritize backlogs.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision and strategic roadmap.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs for multiple Agile teams.
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into user stories.
• Partner with business leaders, operations and technical stakeholders.

A growing insurance technology organization is seeking a full-time Senior Product Owner to support a major modernization initiative involving the Guidewire InsuranceNow platform. This opportunity can support candidates working in a hybrid or remote environment depending on location and business needs. The position will focus on product strategy, Agile delivery, stakeholder collaboration, and continued enhancement of a leading insurance platform supporting policy, underwriting, claims, and billing functions.

This is a Hybrid opportunity in the South Suburbs of Chicago. They require in office presence Tuesday-Thursday. This is an opportunity to join an organization that is actively investing in the future of its technology ecosystem. The successful candidate will become the primary product leader for a mission-critical platform and will have the ability to influence roadmap decisions, business processes, and enterprise technology initiatives. The company is looking for someone who enjoys partnering with both business and technical teams while driving meaningful outcomes across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Product Owner, Product Management, or related business technology leadership experience
• Experience with Guidewire InsuranceNow or similar core insurance platforms
• Property & Casualty insurance industry experience
• Strong understanding of underwriting, policy administration, claims, or billing operations
