Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Product Owner for a hybrid/remote role in the Chicago area to lead a major modernization initiative around Guidewire InsuranceNow. You will shape product strategy, align roadmaps with business goals, and collaborate with business and technical teams to drive value across policy, underwriting, claims, and billing.

The role emphasizes ownership of the product backlog, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring regulatory alignment while delivering measurable

Competenze

Minimum 5+ years leading Product Owner/PM or related tech leadership.
Experience with Guidewire InsuranceNow or similar insurer core platform.
Strong P&C industry experience across underwriting, policy, claims, billing.
Proven ability to work in Agile environments and manage stakeholders.
Ability to translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.

Define and communicate product vision and strategic roadmap.

A growing insurance technology organization is seeking a full-time Senior Product Owner to support a major modernization initiative involving the Guidewire InsuranceNow platform. This opportunity can support candidates working in a hybrid or remote environment depending on location and business needs. The position will focus on product strategy, Agile delivery, stakeholder collaboration, and continued enhancement of a leading insurance platform supporting policy, underwriting, claims, and billing functions.

This is a Hybrid opportunity in the South Suburbs of Chicago. They require in office presence Tuesday-Thursday. This is an opportunity to join an organization that is actively investing in the future of its technology ecosystem. The successful candidate will become the primary product leader for a mission-critical platform and will have the ability to influence roadmap decisions, business processes, and enterprise technology initiatives. The company is looking for someone who enjoys partnering with both business and technical teams while driving meaningful outcomes across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Product Owner, Product Management, or related business technology leadership experience
Experience with Guidewire InsuranceNow or similar core insurance platforms
Property & Casualty insurance industry experience
Strong understanding of underwriting, policy administration, claims, or billing operations
Experience working within Agile environments
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to create user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize backlogs
