Global Payments is seeking a Product Owner for the Card Acceptance team to shape the future of global commerce. You will work with product management and stakeholders to refine roadmaps, translate requirements into user stories, and drive end-to-end delivery with a customer-first ROI mindset.

You will own feature refinement, data mapping, and documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan releases and maintain backlog quality, while providing regular demonstrations and updates

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a software development environment.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience scoping product roadmap initiatives, refining epics/features, writing and prioritizing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
• Experience creating detailed specifications and user/training guides.
• Ability to understand multiple user journeys and regional requirements.
• Understanding of APIs, their design and lifecycle.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-functional working across organizational boundaries.
• Bonus: experience in financial services, card processing, POS or finance.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to understand strategy and opportunities for customers and internal teams.
• Act as an ambassador for the product, analyzing requirements and design with stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide business direction with an ROI mindset.
• Assist Product Management with design and delivery of new features and enhancements.
• Refine features and create specifications and data mappings to enable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and prioritize the team backlog in Jira with high quality and clear outcomes.
• Provide regular demos to stakeholders to ensure acceptance criteria are met and signed off.
• Plan product releases with cross-functional teams and manage risks and blockers.
