Job summary

OEC seeks a Product Owner for the Collision team to guide the product lifecycle, acting as the voice of the customer and coordinating with engineering to scope, structure, refine, and deliver features.

3+ years in software product ownership, strong communication, analytical thinking, and cross-team collaboration are required. This hybrid role is in Alpharetta, GA, with a remote-first mindset and a focus on customer-driven outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a well-groomed product backlog that supports assigned scrum teams and guides development efforts through the product life cycle.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies to keep teams aligned and on schedule.
• Prioritize needs, anticipate customer requests, and evaluate product progress to achieve objectives of the Collision product vision.
• Translate roadmap initiatives into clearly defined feature sets and work with Product Managers to prioritize releases.
• Write clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria to create and prioritize features.
• Collect feedback from users, customers, and dealers for future enhancements.
• Document process workflows to articulate product requirements.
• Ramp up quickly on product knowledge to support engineering teams on questions.
• Partner with UI/UX and technology leads in scrum meetings and reviews.
• Inform customer-facing teams of new Collision-related releases and ensure accurate documentation.
• Assist with launch planning and knowledge transfer for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to triage client tickets and input into fixes.
• Develop and track success criteria for releases and monitor post-launch performance.
