Job summary

Marlabs is seeking a Product Owner (AI & Analytics) to drive delivery of AI, analytics, and data-driven solutions that support business goals. You will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, own the backlog and roadmap, and ensure delivery teams focus on high-value outcomes.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams, AI specialists, UX designers, and software engineers to deliver business value. A strong Agile background and Jira proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or related delivery roles.
• Strong Agile/Scrum expertise with backlog management, story creation, and sprint planning.
• Experience delivering data, analytics, AI, or digital product initiatives in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage product backlogs, priorities, roadmaps, and delivery plans across AI and analytics initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized work items.
• Lead Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams, AI specialists, UX designers, and software engineers to deliver value.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, dependencies, risks, and changing requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Support governance, release planning, change management, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.

Product Owner (AI & Analytics) | About You

As a Product Owner (AI & Analytics), you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of AI, analytics, and data-driven solutions that support business objectives and operational excellence. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable product features, managing product backlogs and roadmaps, and ensuring delivery teams remain focused on high-value outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong Agile product ownership experience with excellent stakeholder management skills and a passion for leveraging data, analytics, and AI to solve complex business challenges.

Product Owner (AI & Analytics) | Day-to-Day

• Own and manage product backlogs, priorities, roadmaps, and delivery plans across AI, analytics, reporting, and digital product initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define product capabilities, and translate business objectives into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized work items.
• Lead Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, reviews, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analytics teams, AI specialists, UX designers, and software engineers to deliver business value.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, competing priorities, dependencies, risks, and changing business requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support product governance, release planning, change management, documentation, and continuous improvement of product delivery processes and Agile practices.

Product Owner (AI & Analytics) | Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or related product delivery role, with ownership of product backlogs and roadmaps.
• Strong Agile/Scrum expertise, including backlog management, user story creation, sprint planning, prioritization, and successful product delivery using Jira.
• Proven experience delivering data, analytics, reporting, business intelligence, AI, or digital product initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams and influence decision-making.
• Experience translating business requirements into product features and delivery plans, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization capabilities.
• Preferred: Experience with AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Databricks, cloud-based data platforms, executive dashboards, or modern analytics architectures.
