Job summary

Braven is seeking a product leader who will own a complex product end-to-end, including its P&L. You will drive product direction with data, prototype solutions when needed, and speak directly with customers to validate assumptions.

Expect travel to San Francisco, Mexico, Miami, Panama, Puerto Rico, London and more as we aim to build a category-defining AI product for the specialty insurance industry. You will thrive in a high-growth startup, own decisions, and enjoy solving hard problems with

The role

You’ll report directly to our Head of Product and own a product end to end, including its P& L. Not influence it. Own it. If the numbers are good, that's you. If they're bad, that's also you. You’ll work on an agentic AI product embedded in one of the largest industries out there, with real ownership and real accountability, not a seat in meetings.

What you'll do

• You decide what gets built and what doesn't, with incomplete information.
• You prototype. If you need to write code to test an idea, you write it.
• You talk to customers, look at the numbers, and change direction when the data says so, even if it kills something you loved.
• You travel to San Francisco, Mexico, Miami, Panama, Puerto Rico, London, and wherever else we need to go to build the best product in our category.

What we're looking for

• You’ve worked at startups. You know what it feels like when nothing is defined and everything is on fire, and you like it.
• You’re independent. Nobody will tell you what to do every morning.
• You’re comfortable owning a P& L. Revenue, costs, margins, you can read them and you feel responsible for them.
• You can get technical. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you can build a prototype and you’re not afraid of code.
• You make decisions. You’d rather make a call and be wrong than wait for someone to decide for you.
