Job summary

NDT Global is seeking a Product Operations Leader to scale product management practices and drive market-aligned strategy. You will standardize processes across the product development lifecycle, enable repeatable execution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and sales.

You will transform internal data into insights, manage performance tracking, and champion customer and market intelligence to inform roadmaps and OKRs in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree from a university or technical college in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Establish scalable, repeatable product operating model across the product development lifecycle (e.g. business cases, PRDs/URDs, release plans, roadmaps, product launches, development management, ISO certification documentation, portfolio management).
  • Ensure consistency and efficiency in how product teams operate, collaborate, and communicate across functions, including handover from products to operations and sales.
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, feedback loops, and operational audits.
  • Support product team onboarding and capability-building through structured guidance on best practices with standardized tools (e.g. product management software, product development software).
  • Define and manage frameworks for tracking product performance and operational health (e.g. price performance, revenue pipeline, customer retention, ILI performance specifications).
  • Support monthly operating reviews, technical reviews, and annual strategic planning with data-driven insights and tracking mechanisms for progress against goals (e.g. tracking, budget, schedule, resources, risk).
  • Partner with Product and TPM teams to collect and analyze internal data on product usage, customer behavior, and delivery health (e.g. adoption, retention, delivery velocity)
  • Manage market data required for insights that influence product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and OKRs (e.g. market sizing, PHMSA data and statistics, customer segmentation, SWOT analysis, competitor intel).
  • Lead efforts to gather and synthesize external research from voice-of-customer, user research, sales, support, and market trends.
  • Streamline and centralize access to qualitative and quantitative insights so teams can self-serve and explore findings with ease; including maintaining a system for capturing and categorizing customer feedback across touchpoints (e.g. support, NPS, sales conversations).
  • Provide tools and guidance for teams to validate hypothesis and decisions for potential product opportunities.

Purpose:

The goal of the Product Operations Leader is to scale product management and product development practices and frameworks that enable consistent creation of a market validated, compelling product strategy, and quality product releases. This role is critical in scaling products by equipping teams with standardized tools and repeatable practices needed to build exceptional products and drive alignment across cross functional teams to make smarter and faster decisions.

  • Process & Practice – Standardizing and optimizing product development practices (product development lifecycle management) to drive consistency, transparency, and efficiency across teams. Define and drive consistent cross-functional frameworks that align the organization around strategy, execution, and product excellence.
  • Product Portfolio Data & Insights – Turning internal data into actionable intelligence for product strategy and performance tracking. Collect, analyze, and visualize internal product and business data to support product strategy creation and performance tracking (development and product).
  • Customer & Market Intelligence – Facilitate and aggregate externally sourced research and customer feedback, enabling teams to access actionable insights with ease, while keeping the customer and market at the center of decisions.

Qualifications/Education:

  • A bachelor's degree from a university or technical college in a related field is required.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Product Development, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting scaling of a products organization (product development, product management, marketing) in a growth-stage company.
  • Proven track record of driving alignment, accountability, and improving how cross-functional teams work together to deliver high-impact products.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complexity and influence without authority.
  • Highly organized, process-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in fast-moving environments.
