Job summary

Step Up For Students is seeking a Product Operations Manager to optimize product development and delivery processes within the Product Management team. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Product Management and focuses on planning, coordination, and execution to achieve operational excellence.

Remote work is available across the United States, and the position requires strong communication, strategic planning, and hands-on leadership to drive successful product outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years’ product operations experience.
• Articulate, good listener, and able to persuade teams to perform at high potential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurate and precise attention to detail.
• Able to build strong interpersonal relationships.
• Proven record of delivery and project successes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Product Managers and other departments to ensure alignment across the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate regular product development meetings to review progress and address roadblocks.
• Create and maintain product roadmaps and delivery plans with tasks, timelines and dependencies.
• Lead product launches with marketing, sales and customer support for smooth releases.
• Maintain a release calendar for updates, hot-fixes and new features.
• Perform post-launch evaluations and gather feedback for process improvement.
• Collaborate with customer support to ensure a smooth transition from dev to support.
• Drive quarterly product planning between Product and IT teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose actionable improvements to productivity and quality.
