An established industry player is seeking a Product Manager to oversee the Ops product lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product features, develop data visualization methodologies, and ensure data quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with proficiency in tools like Tableau. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility while contributing to impactful projects that drive operational excellence.
Manages the overall performance of the Ops product throughout its entire lifecycle, from initial concept and design to development, launch, growth, improvement, and eventual retirement. This role involves creating a product roadmap, identifying delivery channels, setting product direction, and determining product development requirements. The Product Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver product features and enhancements.
What you will do
Develop new techniques for onboarding data sources and deliver feedback and requirements for the Operations Technology teams where new features and processes in platform capabilities are needed using Data Wrangling (Data Sourcing, Data Integrity).
Represent Operations by confirming the accuracy of data moving from data sources to GCP.
Serve as a thought leader for Operations data visualization, developing new methodologies to improve data quality performance.
Prepare, document, and maintain data visualization programs to be deployed into the Production environment to produce consistent and reliable insights, enabling stakeholders to make informed data quality decisions.
Follow existing strategies, standards, and best practices in data visualization, data access, and data integration to build and design dashboards and reports as scoped by Operations.
Recommend and create agile data wrangling methodologies for extraction and transformation of data for Ops and derive data marts to drive Ops dashboards and visualizations.
What experience you need
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required
3-5+ years of experience in technical data analysis and reporting
Data Wrangling, Data Visualization, Data Analysis, Data Modeling, scripting, and some coding. Tableau certification is a plus.
Proficient in data visualization tools including Tableau and Looker Studio.
Willingness to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in Equifax’s Atlanta-based office, in line with the 3/2+2 flexible work framework.
