Job summary

Linear is hiring a Product Marketing Manager to shape how our products are positioned and launched. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Eng, Design, CX, Sales, and Marketing to translate complex product work into clear storytelling, compelling launches, and customer-facing experiences.

This is hands-on, requiring strong writing and leadership across async, cross-region teams. Based in North America or Europe, you can work remotely with optional co-working spaces and travel for team

Qualifications

• Exceptional writing with editorial judgment to simplify complex ideas.
• Strong positioning and messaging grounded in customer problems and differentiation.
• Great project management and ability to manage large amounts of detail.
• Comfort going deep on product details and credibility with Product, Engineering, and Design.
• Strong judgment, ownership, and ability to operate autonomously with a high-quality bar.

Responsibilities

• Develop positioning, messaging, and core narratives for feature releases, launches, and strategic product narratives.
• Partner closely with Product management, Engineering, and Design to refine how products are presented across in-product and external surfaces.
• Create and coordinate launch deliverables such as changelogs, demos, enablement materials, email, social copy, and go-to-market communications.
• Equip Sales, CX, and other customer-facing teams with the context and materials they need to communicate new launches effectively.
• Bring customer insight, product understanding, and market context back into product and launch decisions.
