Job Summary

Disney Entertainment Studio Marketing is looking for a Product Marketing Assistant Manager to support Disney+ and the Disney Bundle Loyalty efforts. This person will play a vital role in crafting Disney+ and Disney Bundle product marketing strategies, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams to bring said strategies to life across on‑ and off‑product touchpoints. This person will partner closely with Partnerships, Creative Design, Data Science, Data Analytics, Research, Viewer Experience, CRM, PR, Social, Legal, Finance, and Regional Marketing teams to drive subscriber engagement and retention. We’re looking for a strategic, analytical, and collaborative product marketer to help define how we stand out in an increasingly crowded marketplace and deliver a best‑in‑class experience for our subscriber base. The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of and a passion for the streaming/entertainment landscape and the Disney brand. This person should be an exceptional collaborator and communicator, who can manage highly complex projects with minimal oversight. While this role will focus primarily on Loyalty, the candidate should have a clear understanding of the full marketing funnel. The candidate should be knowledgeable about deriving insights from research and data with the ultimate goal of growing an engaged audience for Disney+ and the Disney Bundle.

Basic Qualifications
  • Independently develop product marketing and go‑to‑market strategies and roadmaps that drive engagement and retention for Disney+ and the Disney Bundle for key Loyalty business initiatives and product marketing priorities.
  • Execute those strategies with minimal oversight to increase retention and lifetime value.
  • Lead discussions with key cross‑functional partners across the organization (Partnerships, Creative Design, Data Science, Data Analytics, Research, Customer Service, CRM, PR, Social, Legal, Finance, and Regional Marketing) to develop comprehensive product marketing strategies that drive positive financial impact for the business and value to our subscribers.
  • Establish key performance indicators to measure the success of loyalty initiatives.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams in the development of strategies and methods to quantify the engagement and retention impact of Loyalty initiatives. Report out to leadership on performance with tailored recommendations.
  • Create and lead a strategic roadmap for Loyalty initiatives for Disney+ and the Disney Bundle.
  • Deeply understand our subscriber base and synthesize key insights, analytics, and competitive intelligence across various Voice of Subscriber channels, to help inform marketing, product, positioning, and go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Partner with the consumer insights, data science, and analytics teams to define goals, track the success of key launches, and monitor results to inform future plans.
Preferred Qualifications
  • You have 4+ years of experience in loyalty marketing, product marketing, strategy, or consulting with deep customer insight and go‑to‑market experience.
  • You have excellent analytical skills including the ability to read & analyze data, set up experiments, prepare and interpret reports for Marketing leadership, and communicate actionable results, findings, and recommendations.
  • Experience supporting work on a Loyalty program strategy with positive revenue results.
  • A strong business understanding and ability to prioritize and make trade‑offs based on impact.
  • A combination of analytical and creative abilities: ability to dive into subscriber data to infer a customer insight, you’re able to write a quick headline in a pinch to deliver magical experiences for our subscribers!
  • You connect teams. You’re able to work cross‑functionally to get things done and you see new ways for teams to partner together to improve the experience for our subscribers.
  • Complex problem solver who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and suggesting ways to address complex problems.
  • Experience working with Global teams and understand the different incentives teams have entering into a project and you work to drive alignment.
  • Ability to manage interdependent, complex projects and keep various work streams on track with little oversight or guidance – recognizing when to elevate key information to managers and leaders.
  • You are a strong communicator with a can‑do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done!
