We are looking for an experienced Product Market Research Consultant (6 month contract) to help us better understand industry trends and competitors. Your insights will directly influence our product strategy and business growth.

This is a 40-hour/week contract role for at least 6 months. The ideal candidate should be based in Canada or the U.S.

Core responsibilities include:

• Conducting market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and key opportunities.
• Analyzing competitors, including pricing models, features, and marketing strategies.
• Identifying and managing third-party research organizations for specialized research.
• Gathering data from surveys, reports, competitor websites, etc.
• Summarizing findings in clear, actionable reports or presentations.
• Performing other duties related to the role and company initiatives.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of research experience with cybersecurity SaaS solutions.
• Experience in the certificate authority industry is strongly recommended.
• Proven market research experience, preferably in SaaS.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with research tools, data collection, and competitive analysis.
• Ability to present findings in a structured and visually appealing format.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
