Job summary

In this role you will own backend products, classifiers, and recommendation treatments for youth on YouTube, drive user research, analyze logs, and define shared success metrics across partner teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years in product management or related technical role.
• At least 3 years of software development and data science, plus 1 year in product management.
• 1 year managing end-to-end product development lifecycle, including user needs, roadmaps, collaboration with engineers, issue resolution, and launches.
• 1 year driving product launches within ML, AI or content recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Drive content recommendations improvements for teens to ensure time on YouTube is well spent.
• Drive product roadmaps, execution, and launches with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and user research.
• Own backend products, classifiers, and recommendation treatments for youth responsibility on YouTube.
• Commission and steer user research and logs analysis to generate insights informing product decisions.
• Define, measure, and align shared success metrics across partner teams.
