Job summary

Empower is seeking a Product Manager to drive growth within Empower Personal Wealth, focusing on digital rollover and client conversion journeys. You will shape product strategy, own the roadmap, and partner with design, engineering and research to deliver seamless customer experiences across the funnel.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, apply data-driven insights, and guide cross-functional teams through key milestones. A strong fintech background and regulatory savvy are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading major digital direct-to-consumer products and collaborating with engineering, design, and research teams.
• Strong prioritization and stakeholder management skills, particularly when working with compliance and legal partners in a highly regulated industry.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and organizational skills, with the ability to build confidence among senior leaders, cross-functional partners, and peers.
• Strong follow-through and commitment to delivering high-quality customer outcomes.
• Detail- and design-oriented approach with a focus on creating intuitive customer experiences.
• Passion for solving complex, high-impact customer and business problems.
• Critical and analytical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable product insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and influence product strategy focused on driving growth into Empower Personal Wealth and helping customers achieve their financial goals
• Own and evolve the product roadmap, prioritizing short- and long-term opportunities aligned with broader organizational strategy and growth objectives
• Drive digital rollover and client conversion experiences that help customers transition from workplace retirement planning into personal wealth
• Develop and execute strategies across each stage of the customer conversion funnel, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, progression, and conversion
• Analyze funnel performance and customer behavior to identify friction points, prioritize opportunities, and improve conversion outcomes
• Partner with design, engineering, and research teams to simplify customer experiences and deliver solutions efficiently
• Leverage customer research, usability testing, market research, behavioral data, and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions
• Define product requirements, manage dependencies, and partner with cross-functional teams, including compliance and legal, to drive execution through key milestones
• Define, analyze, and track key performance metrics to evaluate product performance and customer outcomes
• Influence senior leaders, peers, and cross-functional partners to build alignment and drive product decisions
• Bring clarity to ambiguous opportunities, challenge the status quo, and identify ways to deliver customer value faster and more efficiently
