Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking a Product Manager to lead cross-functional teams in identifying, developing, and managing the full lifecycle of product families. You will create product portfolios and roadmaps, analyze usage and profitability, and collaborate with Marketing on positioning and promotions.

You will support sales with training, competitive analysis, and price-book management, while researching opportunities to increase revenue and profitability across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing or Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing in same or related industry.
• 7+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing in same or similar industry, or
• 7+ years of experience in Engineering in same or related industry.
• Knowledge of applicable service body and vehicle level safety and regulatory standards and requirements.
• Project and Program management exposure in a Phase/Gate environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to identify, develop and manage full lifecycle of product families.
• Develop comprehensive product portfolios and development roadmaps for assigned products.
• Analyze and report on product usage, profitability, market trends, and competition.
• Collaborate with Marketing on product positioning, branding and promotions.
• Support sales and operations with product training, price-book management and updates.
• Conduct customer research to identify opportunities to drive value and profitability.
• Communicate product updates, competitive activity, and new development status to sales.
