Job summary

Fluence, a leader in energy storage and system intelligence, seeks a Product Manager to drive SBMS and analytics within the System Intelligence program. You will translate complex technical and commercial inputs into clear requirements, own the roadmap, and align cross-functional teams for scalable, high-impact solutions.

Travel up to 25% and hybrid work. The role requires 3+ years in product management of complex, system-level products in renewable energy, and the ability to lead engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in product management of complex, system-level products.
• Experience leading engineering teams to ambitious goals.
• Experience with discounted cash flow modeling, IRR, and NPV for BESS/renewables projects.

Responsibilities

• Shape product strategy and roadmap for System Intelligence (SBMS, analytics, intelligent control).
• Translate objectives into clearly defined requirements and prioritized initiatives.
• Link features to customer value through financial modeling and TCO considerations.
• Identify opportunities for joint hardware, software, and analytics work.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to validate problems and roadmap priorities.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, analytics, and commercial teams to ensure scalable delivery.
• Support cross-functional engineering teams to hit milestones.
• Assist regional sales and marketing with customer conversations and sales material.
