Job description

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for a Product Manager - Services. This role sits in DEPCOM's Technical Sales capability supporting the Services department and can be based in Scottsdale, AZ or fully remote.

This role will require 25% travel to accomplish business objectives.

What You Will Do
  • Work with external owners and internal capability leaders to understand market needs and develop creative solutions to address those needs that result in mutual benefit and promote partnership.
  • Collaborate with OEMs to understand their product roadmap, establish a knowledge base, and develop applications of those products to create solutions that can be rapidly deployed.
  • Provide product and applications specific input for short and long-range strategic plans for sales opportunities for Service opportunities.
  • Lead and Coordinate product and application specific Subject Matter Expertise for supporting the Services PV and BESS related business.
  • Maintain the pulse of new technology releases and provide regular internal training to the Technical Sales, Engineering, and Business Development team on relevant product and application specific value propositions.
  • Work with Sales and Business Development associates to optimize the overall customer value of DEPCOM's Service offerings to promote DEPCOM's One Source Solution philosophy. Support client relationships using principle-based behavior that leads to partnerships built on trust.
  • Participate in customer engagements, trade shows, industry events, etc. as needed to build confidence in DEPCOM's capabilities to foster preferred partnerships that provide mutual benefit.
  • Work with Koch/DEPCOM Marketing to create, maintain, and refresh DEPCOM statement of qualifications and marketing material.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements (Basic Qualifications):
  • Industry knowledge & experience: experience with solar and energy storage in the power and utility sector; providing technical or product support as a subject matter specialist to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Service experience: Product Management and/or Application Engineering experience supporting sales and providing industrial services; exposure to after-market and legacy equipment as well as O&M offerings through OEM, EPC, or subcontracting.
  • Understanding of energy markets and how various customer types (utility, IPP, developer, etc.) view/prioritize services and equipment selection.
  • Demonstrated ability to blend financial thinking and technical/operational risk mitigation to create solutions that lead to mutual benefit.
  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Detailed knowledge of equipment used in utility scale solar and energy storage facilities.
  • Experience working with industry specific OEMs in a product management or application support capacity.
  • Experience with market analysis and product positioning.

For this role, we anticipate paying $90,000 - $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
