Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions in Chicago is seeking a Product Manager I for the Data Products group to own Insight, our client-facing reporting platform, and to drive end-to-end delivery of self-service reporting and dashboards.

You will translate client insights into requirements, prioritize the backlog, collaborate with design and engineering, and measure success through report creation, dashboard adoption, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, software eng, information systems, or closely related field.
• 2-4 years in product management in a technology environment.
• Demonstrated experience owning feature delivery end-to-end (discovery, PRDs/user stories, launch, iteration).
• Experience collaborating with engineering and design and participating in Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Own feature-level delivery within Insight—report builders, dashboard creation, visualizations, filters, scheduling, sharing, and export.
• Maintain and prioritize the Insight feature backlog; align with Data Products roadmap and OKRs; plan sprints.
• Partner with design and engineering to explore self-service analytics options and data pipelines.
• Run lightweight research with clients (interviews, prototypes, usability tests) to validate assumptions.
