Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 4+ years focused on working with security engineering teams.
• Experience gathering requirements, managing backlogs, and delivering roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of security concepts and technologies related to IAM, security engineering, network security design, security operations, security architecture, cloud security, data loss protection, zero trust, DevSecOps and vulnerability management.
• Security Engineering mindset with Subject Matter Expertise and hands-on experience in a security domain
• Demonstrated experience streamlining and automating business processes through technology solutions
• Federal experience and knowledge in federal cybersecurity requirements, including NIST CSF, OMB M-22-09, NIST SP 800-53
• Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities to independently resolve complex security challenges.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaborating with engineering and DevOps teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex security concepts for various audiences
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
• Define, prioritize and maintain the product backlog for security initiatives including Cloud Security, IAM, tooling and automation
• Gather and synthesize requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Translate regulatory requirements and stakeholder needs into well-defined product requirements and user stories
• Develop roadmaps for security engineering automation tools and drive improvements in efficiency and risk reduction
• Manage and prioritize the team backlog balancing short-term and long-term goals
• Manage stakeholder communication and transparency about roadmap and outcomes
• Measure outcomes and use data to inform improvements
• Experience defining product strategy for security engineering initiatives
• Ability to translate complex security concepts into clear product requirements
• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and processes.
