Software Product Manager

Locations: Atlanta, GA | London, UK

Additionally, the role offers the chance to:

  2. Identify and analyze market opportunities for innovative products and capabilities in retail outlets nationwide and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and promoting hardware and software products supported by NCR services:

  • Strategic Alignment: Understand NCR product capabilities, align with company strategy, and drive continuous product improvement based on customer feedback and performance metrics.
  • Product Development: Manage the entire lifecycle of hardware and software products, from ideation to post-release review. Develop clear product requirements and coordinate with engineering teams to meet market timelines. Stay informed about technologies like Kubernetes and containers to drive outcomes.
  • Market Insights: Engage with field teams and customers to build valuable products. Recruit customers as co-creators, support marketing campaigns, assist sales with product knowledge, and collaborate with engineering to realize product visions. Attend customer meetings as a Subject Matter Expert to understand market needs.
Minimum Requirements & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related quantitative field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hardware and software product management, with a proven record of delivering customer-centric products.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, Design Thinking, and modern product management practices.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on impactful innovation and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability.
  • Passion for achieving meaningful outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Retail industry, especially with Loyalty and promotion programs.
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of modern tech stacks, including Containers, Kubernetes, microservices, and APIs.
  • MBA (optional).
