Job summary

Chime seeks a Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for Transaction Risk Decisioning, partnering with engineering, analytics, risk strategy, operations, and platform teams to reduce fraud and improve approval rates.

You will own outbound transaction risk across card authorization, ACH, P2P and other money movement surfaces, shaping risk signals and safe safeguards for members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
• Deep expertise in payments risk and card network rules.
• Strategic thinking about purchase volume and auth rates.
• Track record of thought leadership on hard, ambiguous problems.
• Strong product mindset translating risk and platform challenges into strategy.
• Experience with policy, operations and data dependencies.
• Ability to engage across journeys, experiments, and platform capabilities.
• Customer empathy and focus on how declines affect trust.
• Strong analytical skills and ML/AI familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy to reduce transaction declines and increase purchase volume authorization rates.
• Launch new controls for emerging fraud patterns across money movement rails.
• Redesign risky decline flows to improve recovery while containing bad actors.
• Collaborate with analysts, data science, Compliance, Legal and engineers to improve risk signals.
• Partner with member support to explain risk outcomes clearly to members.
• Help launch new financial products safely with safeguards and monitoring.
