Job summary

Chime is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for Transaction Risk Decisioning. You will own outbound transaction risk across card authorization, ACH, P2P, and other money movement surfaces, protecting revenue while minimizing fraud and disputes.

You will collaborate with analytics, risk strategy, operations, and platform teams to improve risk signals and user experience, ensuring safe product launches and clearer risk outcomes for members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
• Deep expertise in payments risk and card-network rules.
• Ability to connect risk decisioning to revenue outcomes.
• Track record of shaping roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
• Strong product mindset and translating risk challenges into strategy.
• Experience in policy, operations, and data-dependent systems.
• Fluent collaboration across journeys, policy, experiments, and platforms.
• Customer empathy and understanding of how declines affect trust and retention.
• Analytical skills with exposure to ML/AI methods.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy to reduce declines and increase purchase volume authorization rates.
• Launch new controls for emerging fraud patterns in money movement.
• Redesign decline flows to help good members recover while containing bad actors.
• Work with analysts, data science, Compliance, Legal and engineers to improve risk signals.
• Partner with member support to explain risk outcomes clearly.
• Help launch new financial products with proper safeguards and monitoring.
