Job summary

Chime is seeking a Product Manager to lead Transaction Risk Decisioning. You will shape product strategy at the intersection of risk, growth, and trust, working with engineering, analytics, and compliance to reduce fraud and improve purchase authorization.

You will translate complex risk and platform challenges into clear strategy, collaborate across teams, and own initiatives to balance safety with a seamless member experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Deep expertise in payments risk including card networks and risk decisioning.
• Ability to translate risk and platform challenges into clear strategy and execution.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams in fast-growing environments.
• Strong customer empathy and ability to connect risk decisions with user impact.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy to reduce transaction declines and increase purchase volume authorization rates.
• Launch new controls for emerging fraud patterns across money movement rails.
• Redesign decline flows to recover good members while containing bad actors.
• Collaborate with analysts, data science, Compliance, Legal and engineers to improve risk signals.
• Partner with member support to make risk outcomes understandable for members.
• Help launch new financial products safely with safeguards and monitoring.
