Product Management SDK Developer Tools AI/ML Real-time Communications

PubNub is seeking a Product Manager/Product Owner to drive the strategy and evolution of our SDKs, which are crucial for powering real-time experiences across mobile, web, and server platforms. You will ensure developers have top-tier tools to build on PubNub with ease and speed, especially with the increasing integration of AI.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand developer integration of PubNub SDKs across various environments and identify areas for improvement.
2. Define and evolve the SDK portfolio, focusing on AI integration and support for emerging platforms.
3. Gather feedback from customers, developer advocates, and internal teams to create actionable product requirements.
4. Work with agile teams to develop, test, and ship new SDK features and improvements.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful SDK releases.
6. Define success metrics for SDK usage, monitor performance, and iterate based on data.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of product management experience, with direct ownership of SDKs or developer tooling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with AI/ML applications and SDK integration is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of developer needs and passion for improving workflows.
• Familiarity with agile/scrum development environments.
• Comfort with multiple languages and environments.
• Collaborative mindset and excitement for cross-functional teamwork.

• Excellent communication skills.
