Job summary

Körber Pharma Packaging AG is seeking a senior product manager/owner to lead software and data-driven products within its inspection tech portfolio. You will translate user needs into technical requirements and collaborate with engineering to deliver market-leading solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years shaping complex software products, strong English communication, and experience in agile environments. German is preferred, with occasional travel involved.

Qualifications

• University degree in a technical or scientific field.
• 5+ years shaping complex software or data-driven products as a product manager/owner.
• Fluency in English; German preferred.
• Experience with agile software development (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira/Confluence.
• Proven cross-functional project leadership in a matrix organisation.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with long-term product vision.
• Strong customer-focused thinking and prioritization skills.
• Familiarity with user stories, acceptance criteria and Definition of Done.
• Pharma/consumer health experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Act as voice of product to customers and voice of customer to product development.
• Monitor, analyse and report end-user feedback and evolve product in the marketplace.
• Ensure user friendliness of product functionalities.
• Supervise and advise the scrum team to meet software expectations.
• Determine roadmaps for products in the creation phase.
• Prepare software release restrictions and risk lists.
• Monitor progress against development targets.
• Contribute to holistic digital product and data strategy.
• Lead development of marketing materials and product demonstrations.
