Job description

About the Job

The Lifetime Value Co. is seeking a Product Manager to join the Payments, Billing and Risk (PBR) team.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to play a key role on our Payments team. In this role, you’ll drive the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of our Payments and Billing infrastructure and processes — ensuring seamless transactions, reducing churn, and directly contributing to LTV’s growth. You’ll work closely with other PBR team members including Engineers, QA, and Data Analysts to build innovative, in-house Payments and Billing solutions. You’ll also work with our Payments Processors and other third-parties to optimize and maintain performance.

If you thrive in a collaborative environment, have a passion for solving complex Payments challenges, and want to make a meaningful impact in a key area of the business — then we’d love to hear from you.

What You Will Get to Do

  • Own and manage day-to-day relationships with Payments Processors and third-party providers.
  • Analyze Payments and Billing data to uncover optimizations, cost savings, and user experience improvements.
  • Leverage various A/B testing frameworks to identify areas of opportunity related to our Payments and Billing processes and user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, and Business Intelligence to deliver high-impact Payments and Billing initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Oversee sprint-level execution by managing Engineering needs, dependencies, and blockers; create and groom tickets, and lead agile ceremonies — including stand-up and sprint planning.
  • Stay ahead of Payments and Billing industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Work closely with leadership to align on goals, KPIs, and the long-term vision for the team.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally within a merchant, banking, FinTech, or consumer subscription business environment.
  • Proven expertise in managing third-party relationships, driving collaboration, resolving issues, and aligning external partners with internal team objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of Payments, including major Payment Methods such as Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, and PayPal coupled with an understanding of consumer preference and behaviors related to the online checkout experience.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with a track record of leveraging data and launching A/B tests to inform decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and align a team around goals and a shared vision.

Nice to have but not required:

  • Technical background, this could include experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering or Data Analytics

Languages:

  • English - Proficient level

About Us

LTV was founded in New York by Josh Levy and Ross Cohen in 2007. At the time their mission was to provide easy and affordable access to public records. Something that in 2007, was only really accessible to corporations. Since then their mission has expanded to developing products and services that grant access to information and data across a number of verticals. In service of this mission, LTV has 10 consumer brands including BeenVerified, NumberGuru, PeopleLooker, NeighborWho, Ownerly, PeopleSmart, Bumper, ReversePhone, MoneyBot5000, and Wingmate.

Our mission is to develop a diverse portfolio of technologies, products, and services, that gives all people equal access to unbiased data and information. We believe that through this access people can empower and protect themselves in today’s ever-changing world, filled with fake news, deception, and a lack of transparency.
