Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own the Product Details & Parts Solutions experiences across the eCommerce journey.

You will work with Engineering, UX, Catalog Experience, and business stakeholders to help customers identify parts, verify compatibility, and complete purchases with confidence. This role requires strong customer empathy, product judgment, and the ability to translate complex problems into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

5–7 years of experience owning customer-facing digital product experiences in eCommerce or related industries.
Proven ability to own a product area end-to-end and deliver measurable outcomes.
Strong experience with engineering teams in scrum/agile environments and backlog shaping.
Experience using analytics/feedback to prioritize product investments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Own the Product Details & Parts Solutions roadmap focused on confidence and accuracy.
Improve Product Detail Pages to show specs, compatibility, and purchase considerations.
Lead evolution of 2D diagrams and 3D models to aid part identification.
Enhance Planned Maintenance Kit and Small Repair experiences for workflows.
Identify and resolve customer pain points causing uncertainty or incorrect selections.
Translate data insights and stakeholder input into prioritized improvements.
Partner with Engineering and UX to deliver intuitive purchasing experiences.
Lead end-to-end Scrum activities and align stakeholders to move initiatives forward.
