TEGNA Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to lead enhancements of the internal CMS/digital publishing platform and a native mobile collaboration app.

You will partner with editorial leaders, newsroom teams, and engineering to translate workflows into high-impact solutions that help journalists plan, create, collaborate, and publish content across channels. You'll own product strategy, engage with stakeholders, and balance customer needs with technical realities and business goals in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Product Management or Product Owner experience with ownership of customer-facing products or internal platform systems.
• Experience with CMS, digital publishing platforms, MAM, or collaborative editing tools.
• Ability to write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria for developers.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and managing backlogs in Jira/Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Data-driven decision making and measuring product outcomes.
• Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable product requirements.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end product discovery, definition, and lifecycle for the internal CMS and mobile collaboration platform.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog across both products and refine stories.
• Partner with Editorial leadership and newsroom teams to understand workflows and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Engineering during sprint cycles and translate requirements for developers.
• Lead agile planning, sprint execution, backlog refinement, and release planning.
• Balance scope, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations with technical debt and risk.
• Monitor post-release feedback and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Communicate roadmap priorities and post-launch performance across teams.
