Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Product Manager for the NanoDrop and Quant-iT portfolio to define and execute product strategy across genomics and proteomics workflows.

You will gather VOC insights, align with R&D, Marketing, and Commercial teams, and drive go-to-market plans for new instruments, assays, and software features. This onsite role offers global collaboration and opportunities to influence portfolio profitability.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or extensive experience in product management, marketing, applications, or commercial roles in life sciences or analytical instrumentation.
• Experience managing scientific instrument or reagent portfolios with portfolio strategy
• Experience translating VOC insights into product requirements and business opportunities
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills for business cases and go-to-market plans
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through new product development and lifecycle management
• Proven success launching hardware, consumables, software, or integrated workflows
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including international travel

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy for NanoDrop and Quant-iT portfolio and execute plans.
• Collaborate with R&D, Applications, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial teams to define requirements and launch instruments, assays, software features, and workflows.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and commercialization plans; partner across divisions to integrate products into broader workflows.
• Analyze market trends, VOC insights, competitive landscape, and financial performance to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
• Drive product adoption through cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Field Applications, Service and regional teams.
• Travel as needed to support global product launches and customer engagement
