Job summary

Watchmaker Genomics is seeking a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager, Precision Enzymes & Emerging Technologies, based in Boulder, CO. You will lead the enzyme portfolio strategy and collaborate with R&D, marketing, and manufacturing to drive new product development and lifecycle management.

The role requires a strong molecular biology background, 6+ years of industry experience, and ability to travel 20–25% domestically and internationally; PhD is a plus and startup experience is valued.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD with 6+ years in biotech; bench experience.
• Experience in product management or customer-facing roles a plus.
• OEM/B2B enzyme or reagent product experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 20-25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year strategy and roadmaps for enzyme portfolio.
• Serve as portfolio expert and collaborate with R&D on scale-up and OEM needs.
• Lead new product development initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Support pricing, positioning, and commercialization planning for enzymes.
• Translate market intel into roadmaps; partner with marketing on launches.
• Present to senior leadership and manage product lifecycle.
