Pennylane is a fast-growing fintech that provides accounting software for SMEs. We are hiring a Product Manager to own the free-to-paid journey, define monetisation outcomes, and run experiments to drive MRR.

Responsibilities

• Spend extensive time understanding why SMEs pay, or don't, through interviews and data analysis.
• Work hand in hand with Product Designer and Product-centered engineers to ship and iterate on upgrade moments.
• Collaborate closely with PMs across product scopes to place the right paid moments in their flows.

Job description

• Own the free-to-paid journey for SMEs: how they discover paid value, when and where upgrades are proposed, and how they buy.
• Define and steer a clear monetisation outcome: product-driven upgrades and MRR, with baseline, targets, and decision rules.
• Run monetisation as an experiment-led practice: one cohort, one hypothesis, a metric, and a stop criterion defined upfront.

What You'll Do:

• Spend extensive time understanding why SMEs pay, or don't, through interviews and data analysis.
• Work hand in hand with Product Designer and Product-centered engineers to ship and iterate on upgrade moments.
