Job summary

Sarvam is building the bedrock of Sovereign AI for India and is seeking a Product Manager for Model APIs. You will own the API surface, shape roadmaps with research, and define what is shipped and how it is priced.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building AI/ML products, developer platforms, or APIs.
• Strong analytical instincts and comfort with data.
• Ability to balance quality, latency, and cost in model-powered products.
• Experience working with researchers and earning their trust.

Responsibilities

• Own the product surface for Sarvam's model APIs across speech, language, and multimodal.
• Shape model roadmaps with research leads using usage data and customer signals.
• Define and enforce quality metrics: accuracy, latency, cost per call, robustness.
• Own evaluation as a product: benchmarks, tests, and reporting for stakeholders.
• Translate customer and developer feedback into API requirements and updates.
• Partner with infra and platform teams on rollout, capacity, and reliability for production models.
• Drive release planning end-to-end: positioning, migration paths, and trade-offs.
• Communicate priorities clearly across research, engineering, GTM, and leadership.
